About Us

The Ipswich Polish Club will boast of many facilities to help with the needs of the large group of migrant workers, existing residents and visitors to the town. The club is open to all the community and we welcome all ethnic groups to enjoy these facilities and experience a ‘taste of Poland’.

We feel it is important not to let migrant groups recede into isolation where social problems can occur but to open the doors to those whose real home is far away. Families, husbands, wives and children, relatives and friends may be a good distance away but the club will help to provide a small haven to relax and feel at ease with familiar surroundings.

There is no such facility available in Suffolk and we welcome those in surrounding neighbouring counties as well as further afield. Our cafeteria will serve traditional snacks and meals as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks and will always have a relaxed atmosphere for all age groups to enjoy.

The restaurant/bar will have a comprehensive menu with gastronomic delights served with local drinks as well as beers and spirits from Poland and worldwide.

The internet café will be of tremendous use to those wishing to communicate with home as well as achieve higher learning career skills.

The travel agency will offer fully ABTA protected holidays and travel arrangements for those wanting to visit other countries as well as home. Poland has so much to offer as a holiday destination for cultural and historical reasons and will incorporate specialised itineraries from beach to lake and mountain resorts. Non Stop Travel Ltd has many years of experience to offer travel by air, sea, rail and coach to all worldwide destinations.

Our advice centre will be used to signpost those in need of administrative direction and we will have regular visits by banks, solicitors, employment agencies, accommodation agencies etc. to help in many matters.

All in all the club will be available to offer all in the way to promote social cohesion and integration within the community and help take the pressure off busy town centre agencies.
