
The committee will be responsible for:-
a) Plans and costs for the chosen building and its renovation – 57 St Margaret’s Street, Ipswich, IP4 2AX.
b) Management, monitoring and running of the club with an organised membership with its own constitution. Advertising and information distribution widely available to the public press and TV.
c) The running of a restaurant/buffet bar with actively employed staff on the premises. We have full licensing permissionrs in place for the Club.
d) The implementation of recreational area big enough in size to accommodate the playing of games such as bridge/chess. To provide a library/reading area and a cultural corner displaying national pride.
e) Having pod areas providing open-plan space for assisting in
1) Legal/financial matters
2) Employment and social issues
3) General advice and travel centre
f) A separate area for offices to handle administrative issues.
g) Full equal opportunities with health and safety issues supported by child protection policies.
We hope to be ready to open the first part of the project by mid March 2009.
